Can I be involved in choosing my baby’s adoptive family?

Absolutely! As a potential birthmother, we encourage you to browse our  and choose a family you feel would be a good fit for you and your baby. We can help you choose a family and they will contact you in whatever way you’re most comfortable with. If you want, you can spend time with them on your own to get to know them better. Many expectant mothers meet adoptive families for dinner, go to doctor’s appointments together, talk on the phone, text back and forth, and/or send emails to one another.     What if I am in labor or have already had the baby? Can I still choose adoption?

    Yes, it is never too late to put your infant up for adoption. We regularly receive calls and messages from women who are in labor, who have already had their baby and are in the hospital, or who have already taken their baby home. Families are prepared for the possibility of an after-delivery adoption and will be happy to travel anywhere in the country to meet you, so we can have an adoptive family available for your baby within hours.
